Another craft day in Snowklahoma...

I'm lucky enough to have another day off due to snow.  I just finished a little something for my mom's birthday - a checkbook cover made out of a vintage sheet.  Not just any sheet, but the exact print she had when she was a kid!

I participated in a couple vintage sheet swaps last year and have a drawer-full of fat quarters that are waiting for me to get around to them.  Here's Carlton right after I got him and a shipment of sheets.  I didn't pose him there, he just hopped in!

Feeling productive this morning, I've already washed and (mostly) dried the quilt I finished putting the binding on last night.  Here's a sneak peek, and I'll post more about it later :D

Stay warm & safe!

Love that checkbook cover! And I'm sure your mom will too, especially since the pattern is sentimental for her! Very cool.

The new quilt looks wonderful. Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday, have a great week!

Aren't they so incredibly fun???! And medical world huh? Me too (a few years ago). Way too cool! Thanks for sharing! Cute kitten too!
