Snow Day!

We had an honest to goodness blizzard out here starting Monday night and I am fortunate enough to have had a snow day yesterday and today!  That means I've been doing a lot of sewing peeps :D  I've done other stuff too, but nothing I'm as excited about as these few projects I've been working on or completing.

First up, yesterday I finished this sweet quilt top that's for my church group.  We make quilts to take to the kids at the local children's hospital.  It still needs borders, but that fabric wasn't included in my take-home kit.

Next, I was tired of this project sitting next to my sewing machine and so I up and finished it.  Woohoo!  Another project on the checklist bites the dust :D  This is a plastic bag holder that may look familiar because I keep making them over and over!  It's from Pink Penguin's tutorial in Stitch magazine.  I used leftover scraps from my Moda Bliss jelly roll.

Lastly, I've been working on the pinwheel baby quilt from Moda Bake Shop.  I'm using a Moda A Breath of Avignon charm pack I bought after Christmas when Burgundy Buttons had a sweet deal on them.  I still have to add borders and the prairie points, which I've already made.

Well this has been a long post!  Hope you made it to the end.  Stay warm if you're stuck in a foot of snow like I am!

I badly need one of those bag holders. Every time I see them, I remind myself to make one! The pinwheel quilt is gorgeous, love the colors.

Thanks for linking up, have a great week! : )

That is a sweet little green quilt. So nice to be giving it to charity. Love your pinwheel too!
